Each December, the Policy Center for the New South convenes several hundred leaders — ministers, CEOs, researchers, emerging voices from four continents — in Marrakech for the Atlantic Dialogues: one of the reference forums on the wider Atlantic space, from trade and security to energy and migration. Running since 2012, it has made Marrakech a fixture on the international conference calendar.
Why it’s on this page
Because conference Morocco is a real travel segment: delegates land with packed agendas and two free half-days, and December Marrakech — crisp, luminous, uncrowded — rewards every one of them. The forum also signals something bigger: the kingdom’s growing role as Africa’s meeting room, from GITEX to COP-scale summits.
The practical counsel
Participation is by invitation/registration via the Policy Center; hotels cluster in Hivernage and the Palmeraie for the season, and December books tighter than delegates expect — secure the room with the badge.
The delegate’s free half-day, solved
Our conference formats exist for exactly this: a guided medina morning, the Bahia and Saadian tombs in two focused hours, or the Agafay sunset (€30) between sessions — private car, timed to your panel.
Coming to Morocco for the event? Tell us your dates on WhatsApp and we build the rest privately around your programme — guided city days, day trips, desert nights and transfers, never in a group. The mechanics are in our booking FAQ, and the full calendar lives on our Events in Morocco page.
Everything on this page can be woven into a private itinerary — start from the travel FAQ or book our private circuits (from €150 per day), and we shape the rest around you.

Her method is checklists first, reassurance second — most worries about Morocco dissolve when someone simply explains how things work here.
