City breaks in Morocco

Six cities, six centuries — a long weekend or a full week.
Home  ›  Travel styles  ›  City breaks in Morocco

A private Morocco city break costs from €600 per person for 4 days across the northern cities and from €750 for the 5-day Casablanca–Fes–Rabat–Marrakech line. Every break is private — your own car, driver and licensed guide between and inside the cities, never a group tour.

Why city-hop here

Morocco's cities sit close enough together that a long weekend can hold three of them and a week can hold six. Blue Chefchaouen, medieval Fes, white Tangier, the capital Rabat, Casablanca's ocean-front mosque and Marrakech's red walls — our city circuits link them with a private driver so the road becomes part of the trip, not a cost of it.

The road is the trip

Private car between cities — Volubilis, a mountain pass or the coast en route, never an airport.

Sleep inside the history

Riads in the medinas, not hotels beside them — courtyards, rooftops and lantern light.

Open-jaw by design

In at Tangier or Casablanca, out at Marrakech — no backtracking, no wasted day.

All-season cities

Crisp winter light, spring on foot, rooftop summers — the medinas never close.

City moments not to miss

Each Moroccan city is its own century: Fes runs on the 14th, Marrakech on the current one, Chefchaouen on none at all. Short hops by private car — with Volubilis or a mountain pass en route — mean every day delivers a completely different place without an airport in between.

City breaks in Morocco

On the road

  • The blue lanes of Chefchaouen just after sunrise, before the day-trippers
  • Fes el-Bali with a local guide — tanneries, madrasas, souks
  • Jemaa el-Fna at dusk as the food stalls light
  • The Kasbah of the Oudayas and the Hassan Tower in Rabat
  • A guided visit inside the Hassan II Mosque in Casablanca

When to go

City breaks work twelve months a year. Winter brings crisp light and quiet medinas; spring and autumn are perfect on foot; in summer the smart rhythm is early mornings, shaded lunches and rooftop evenings.

Travel tips

City break questions, answered

How many days do I need for a Morocco city break?

Four days covers Tangier, Chefchaouen and Fes; five lets you run Casablanca–Rabat–Fes–Marrakech in one line. A private car between cities is what makes these timings honest — no bus stations, no waiting.

Is it a group tour or private?

Private only — we don't run groups on any route. You have your own vehicle and driver between the cities and a licensed guide inside each medina, so the itinerary compresses or stretches to your interest.

Which city should anchor a first trip?

Marrakech for atmosphere and day-trip options, Fes for depth of history. If you can only take a long weekend, the north — Tangier, Chefchaouen, Fes — packs the most contrast into four days.

Can I combine a city break with the desert?

Yes — the 9-day Casablanca-to-Marrakech route adds a Sahara stage to the city line, and any city itinerary can take a 2-day Zagora extension. Ask on WhatsApp and we redraw the route around your dates.

When is the best time for Moroccan cities?

Cities work almost year-round: October to April is most comfortable on foot; summer favours early mornings, shaded medinas and rooftop evenings. Chefchaouen and Tangier stay milder than Marrakech in July–August.
