“Package” is the most loaded word in travel — conjuring either effortless ease or tourist-trap rigidity depending on your scars. Here is what a good Morocco package actually contains, what it shouldn’t, and how to read one before paying.
The core four
Every legitimate package bundles: transport (private vehicle and driver, or clearly-stated group seats), accommodation (named category — riad, kasbah, camp — night by night), some meals (half-board is the honest standard; ‘all meals’ usually means buffet fatigue), and the listed activities (camel trek, guided medina days) with everything else visibly excluded.

Reading the fine print like a professional
Check four lines: Is the vehicle private or shared? Are entrance fees in or out (out is normal — flexibility — but should be stated)? What exactly does the desert camp include (ensuite or shared bathrooms is THE tell)? And the cancellation terms in writing.
What should never be packaged
Your lunches (street food freedom is half the trip), your shopping (any ‘included’ carpet stop is a commission arrangement), and your pace — a package that cannot flex a departure time was built for the operator, not for you.
Our version of the word
Every circuit publishes its day-by-day, its included/not-included lists and honest driving times — the package, unpacked before you pay. Compare freely; the booking FAQ explains every term we use.
Everything on this page can be woven into a private itinerary — start from the travel FAQ, and we shape the rest around you.
