The Best Time to Visit Morocco, Season by Season

Deserts, mountains, coast and cities do not share a calendar. When to come depends on which Morocco you want.

The short version

March to May and September to November are the sweet spots almost everywhere: 22–30 °C by day on the desert routes, cool nights, clear mountain trails. It is why most of our departures cluster there.

Summer (June – August)

The desert exceeds 40 °C — doable with early starts and late afternoons, but honest advice: it is not the season for first-timers in the dunes. Summer is, however, excellent on the Atlantic coast and fine in the High Atlas, where altitude tempers the heat.

Winter (December – February)

Marrakech is mild and bright; desert days are pleasant and nights genuinely cold — 5 °C in a camp is normal, which is why our tents carry thick blankets. The Atlas holds snow: summit treks need proper equipment, valley walks stay open.

If you only remember one thing

Book the desert for spring or autumn, the coast for summer, the cities for whenever you can come — and tell us the month first: we shape the route around it, not the other way round.

Plan it with us

Every departure is private — tell us your dates on WhatsApp and we shape the route around this.
