Direct: New York (JFK) and Washington (IAD) to Casablanca on Royal Air Maroc — 7–8 hours, remarkably civilised. One-stops via Lisbon, Paris, Madrid or London open every other US gateway and often land you in Marrakech directly. East-coasters: the overnight direct plus a soft first day is the golden pattern.

Morocco runs 4–5 hours ahead of Eastern time — the gentlest transatlantic offset there is. Most guests are fully synced by day two, which is why our US itineraries put the big guided days from day three.
