Which airport should I fly into?

Marrakech (RAK) for southern and desert routes, Casablanca (CMN) for the classic north-to-south circuits, Fes (FEZ) for the Fes–Sahara crossings, and Tangier (TNG) if you come from Spain. Our tours are built around these gateways, and open-jaw tickets (in one city, out another) pair perfectly with one-way routes.

Is the airport transfer included?

Yes — every circuit includes pickup and drop-off at the airport, port or your hotel, as listed in the tour's inclusions. Your driver waits with a name sign whatever the flight delay.

How long are the driving days?

We publish honest road times on every itinerary, day by day. City hops run one to three hours; the great desert crossings (Fes to Merzouga, Merzouga to Marrakech) are six to seven hours broken by real stops — gorges, oases, viewpoints — that are attractions in their own right.

What are the vehicles like?

Recent air-conditioned 4×4s and minivans, chosen for the group size, with an English- or French-speaking driver-guide. Water is on board; child seats are available on request at booking.

Can I drive myself instead?

Morocco is drivable, but our travellers consistently tell us the driver is what turned the trip from good to effortless: mountain passes, checkpoints, parking in medinas and navigation all disappear. If you want self-drive advice for another trip, ask — we will answer honestly.

Are trains or internal flights ever useful?

The Casablanca–Tangier high-speed train is excellent and we sometimes weave it into tailor-made routes. Internal flights rarely beat the road once airport time is counted — and the road is where Morocco happens.

How do ferry arrivals from Spain work?

Daily fast ferries link Tarifa and Algeciras with Tangier in 1–2 hours. We meet you at the port and start the tour the same afternoon — Chefchaouen is only two and a half hours away, which is why our Tangier-start circuits sleep there on night one.

Is there much walking on the city days?

Medinas are car-free, so city visits are on foot — typically 2–4 easy hours with café stops. Tell us about any mobility concerns and we route around stairs and long distances; much of Fes and Marrakech can be adapted.
