Do I need a visa for Morocco?

Citizens of the EU, UK, US, Canada, Australia and many other countries enter visa-free for up to 90 days as tourists. Check your own nationality's rules with the Moroccan consulate before travelling — requirements can change, and this page is guidance, not legal advice.

How long must my passport be valid?

Officially your passport should be valid for the duration of your stay, but airlines and border officers strongly prefer at least six months' validity. Renew first if you are close to that line.

Is there anything to fill in before arrival?

Standard arrivals fill an entry form on the plane or at the border and receive a stamp with an admission number. Keep your passport with the entry stamp safe — hotels and police checkpoints may ask for it.

I'm arriving by ferry from Spain — anything different?

The process is the same (passport control and entry stamp), done either on board or at the port. Tangier Ville and Tanger Med are both straightforward; tell us which port you land at and we plan the pickup accordingly.

Question 5

Do children need their own documents?

Accepted Answer

Yes — every child needs their own passport. A minor travelling without one or both parents may be asked for a parental authorisation letter; airlines are stricter about this than the border, so check with your carrier.

Can you provide an invitation or booking letter for my visa application?

If your nationality requires a visa, we can provide a booking confirmation letter for your consular file once your tour is confirmed. Tell us early — consular appointments take time.

Are there internal checkpoints I should know about?

Road checkpoints are routine in Morocco, especially in the south. As passengers in a licensed vehicle you rarely do more than wait a minute; keep your passport reachable rather than buried in the boot.
